To kick start the evening TRUFC Chairman and proud Scotsman Hugh Patterson donned his kilt and in true Scottish style ‘addressed the Haggis’ to get everybody in the Burns(ish) spirit.
Highlights of the night included a sell out raffle, game of Heads & Tails Bingo and ‘Roll a Coin’ to get the competitive juices flowing as well as the money tally, with one round of ‘Roll a Coin’ raising £50 alone!
Some amazing raffle prizes were donated by family and friends as well as local businesses including; The Cock & Bottle, Booths, All About Hair, Puccini Pizza, Tesco, Morrisons, Co-op and Sainsburys.
The event was expertly planned and hosted by Lynne and Luke Johnstone . Lynne said “Thank you to everyone who kindly donated prizes to the raffle as it had a big impact on the overall total raised and we are extremely grateful”
Once filling up on haggis, the Karaoke was cranked up and the Photo Booth fun stared. Lynn added “With some “interesting” song choices and cracking duets the Karaoke got some people up on the dance floor…..and some others seeking the haven of the bar area and our Photo Booth meant that we had some lasting memories from the night which was amazing”
All in all the night raised an outstanding £750 which was a fantastic outcome and TRUFC would like to particularly thank Lynne and Luke Johnstone who made it possible.
