Following the issuing of the Club’s return to play policy, and seeing so many players keen and taking part in pre-season training we are providing this update on the following
- Return to Play & Clubhouse Following Relaxation of COVID 19 Rules Policy (Version 2)
- General Reminders
Pre-Season & Training at the Club
Thanks to everyone for using and providing the electronic JOT FORMs. It’s use has embedded the necessary recording of players returning to training for track and trace purposes.
With this now in place, with immediate effect we will amend this process to a more simple recording of players attending training, by requesting coaches and/or team managers to do the following:
Mini’s & Juniors – Team Managers and/or coaches to record players, coaches and parents/guardians in attendance during the session.
Seniors & Colts – Team Managers and/or Coaches to record the attendance of all players and coaches.
It is the responsibility of any players, coaches, team managers, volunteers or parents/guardians who experience symptoms of COVID.
You must report your/your child symptoms if you have attended the club within 14 days of coming down with the symptoms.
Minis, Juniors & Colts – COVID symptoms are to be reported to the Team Manager and or Coach and to club COVID Coordinator Simon Martindale
Senior Players – COVID symptoms are to be reported to the Head Coach and club COVID Coordinator Simon Martindale.
Team Managers, Coaches and Volunteers – COVID symptoms are to be reported to club COVID Coordinator Simon Martindale.
Action taken by the club following the report of COVID symptoms will be done in accordance with the UK Govt and RFU guidelines.
THE UPDATED CLUB POLICY IS NOW ON OUR WEBSITE
Any player, Team Manager, Coach or volunteer that develops any COVID symptoms MUST NOT TRAIN OR ATTEND THE CLUB and we request adherence to Govt guidelines and that the club Policy is followed
As directed by the RFU we are still in the phase of providing training in groups of 6 as well as the coach, so please adhere to this.
A few members have asked about use of the Clubhouse. As it stands the position remains the same and that is that access is currently limited to coaches and managers only, for the purposes of collecting balls, cones, poles etc for training and sanitising balls for player use.
The rest of the Clubhouse is out of use until further notice and broad facilities are not to be used in this pre-season phase.
